GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Bucks added a combination of youth and size with their one and only pick in this year’s NBA Draft. Milwaukee picked Serbian big man Bogoljub Markovic in the second round on Thursday.
Markovic, a 19-year-old 6′11″ power forward, played last season for Mega Basket in Serbia. The same team that produced three-time MVP Nikola Jokić, who was also a second round pick in 2014 draft.
Markovic averaged 14 points a game last season while shooting 54% from the field. He can also stretch the floor as a threat to shoot from behind the arc, connecting on 34% of his three-pointers last season.

Tyrese Haliburton has a new backcourt-mate that played college ball in Brew Town. Indiana took former Marquette guard Kam Jones after a trade with San Antonio for the 38th overall pick.
Jones averaged better than 19 points a game on his way to becoming the Golden Eagles second all-time leading scorer.
Meanwhile, former Badgers guard John Tonje heard his name called in the second round as well. The Colorado State transfer is heading back to the mountains after he was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 53rd overall pick.
The second-team All-American averaged 19.6 points a game while shooting 46.5% from the field in his only season with the Badgers.
