Nottingham Forest were trying to sign Juventus forward Timothy Weah.
However, Weah is not convinced by a transfer to Nottingham Forest and some reports have even suggested there were never any talks.
Weah’s Juventus teammate Samuel Mbangulu is much more likely to join Forest, though, with the 20-year-old winger keen to play Premier League football.
Douglas Luiz has also been linked to the City Ground, with Nuno Espirito Santo and his chiefs evidently keeping tabs on a number of Juve players.
And now, there is a fresh link that’s just emerged out of Nottingham Forest, but this time to an AC Milan star.

After Weah’s rejection, Forest have quickly turned their attention to other targets.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Espirito Santo is exploring a deal to sign AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah.
The Tricky Trees have submitted an official enquiry to Milan, who are reportedly open to sanctioning his sale for around £21m.

Musah predominantly operates as a number eight but can play as an attacking midfielder and even on the wing.
The 22-year-old made 40 appearances for the Italian giants last season.
Musah came through Arsenal’s academy
Musah grew up in Italy and it didn’t take long for his talent to be spotted by Giorgione Calcio 2000.
“I dare say he was the classic phenomenon. Those at his age couldn’t compete with him,” Musah’s former president said.
A move to Arsenal beckoned and he excelled in the Hale End academy before deciding to join Valencia in 2019.
It was in La Liga where he first established himself as one of Europe’s most promising midfielders and that earned him a move to Milan two summers ago.
He’s continued his development at the Rossoneri, and now it looks as though a return to England could be on the cards.
It’d be considered a real coup for Forest, as Musah’s FBref statistics indicate that he’s one of the best ball carriers on the continent.
