Manchester City are set to face Al Hilal in the FIFA Club World Cup last 16.
The Saudi Arabian side’s 2-0 win over Pachuca ensured they qualified as runners-up from Group H and will face the Blues - the winners of Group G.
The victory saw them leapfrog RB Salzburg in their final group fixture, with the Austrians having lost 3-0 to Real Madrid, who qualify as group winners.
We’ll face Al Hilal on Tuesday 1 July at 02:00 (UK) at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida - the venue where we secured top spot in Group G with a 5-2 victory over Juventus.
Goals from Jeremy Doku, Erling Haaland, Phil Foden and Savinho, as well as a Pierre Kalulu own goal, were enough to earn the Blues the win, and extend our 100% record in this season’s competition.
But Al Hilal have also reached the knockout stages with an impressive record, having remained unbeaten through the group stages.
Following draws with Real Madrid and RB Salzburg, their victory over Pachuca has seen them finish on five points, conceding just once in the process.
