Manchester City won Group G at the FIFA Club World Cup with a dominant performance on Thursday, defeating Juventus 5-2 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
City went ahead 2-1 on an own goal in the 26th minute when Juve defender Pierre Kalulu, attempting to intercept a pass at close range, knocked the ball into the net instead.
The rout was on from there. Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, and Savinho scored in the second half to make it 5-1. Haaland's goal was the 300th of his career for the English side.
City midfielder Rodri, last year's Ballon d'Or winner, made his first start since undergoing knee ligament surgery in September. He was substituted off in the 66th minute.
Jeremy Doku opened the scoring for City in the ninth minute, but Teun Koopmeiners equalized two minutes later. Dusan Vlahovic found the net in the 84th minute for Juve, as the Italian side finished second in the group.
Manchester City will face the Group H runners-up on June 30 in Orlando. Juventus will meet the Group H winners on July 1 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

**Kaku scores go-ahead goal as Al Ain defeat Wydad Casablanca 2-1**
Kaku scored early in the second half to lift Al Ain to a 2-1 victory over Wydad Casablanca in Washington on Thursday, in the final match in Group G.
Both teams had already been eliminated from contention for the tournament's knockout round, as they headed into their final group stage game without a win.
Wydad coach Mohamed Amine Benhachem worked on crutches after he and a team physician were involved in a traffic accident earlier in the week. No one involved in the crash was seriously injured, but the 50-year-old Moroccan was unable to attend the team's news conference the day before the match.
Wydad scored first in the fourth minute. Cassius Mailula found himself unchallenged at the end of a cross by Mohamed Moufid, and beat goalkeeper Rui Patricio at the near post. Mailula is currently on loan to Wydad from Major League Soccer side Toronto.
Kodjo Laba converted a penalty kick just before halftime to bring Al Ain level. The penalty, which was confirmed by video review, ended a scoreless drought in the tournament for the team from the United Arab Emirates. The Togolese forward was the UAE Pro League's top scorer this past season.
Al Ain took the lead in the 50th minute when Paraguayan international Kaku finished into the upper right corner. Wydad center-back Jamal Harkass was injured in the run-up to the goal and had to be taken off on a stretcher.
