Everton are now just a matter of days away from returning to Finch Farm to begin pre-season training.
Some Premier League clubs are still playing football abroad, but David Moyes will now be preparing for a return to action.
The Toffees are going to see some huge changes this summer following the Friedkins’ takeover of Everton back in December.
Angus Kinnear has a huge task on his hands at Everton, having been thrown in at the deep end following his move from Leeds United.
A whole new look to the club will be on display come August when Everton return to action, with huge player turnover expected.
With all of the new arrivals expected, there are a handful of players who will also be fighting for a spot in the starting XI, and one is already looking to impress.

Everton are keen to sign a new midfielder this summer, with Idrissa Gana Gueye’s future still up in the air.

Amid all of the uncertainty currently lingering around Finch Farm, the young midfielder, Armstrong, is looking to hit the ground running next month.
Taking to Instagram, Armstrong shared training footage of himself working in a gym on his fitness ahead of pre-season at Finch Farm.

Moyes was impressed by Armstrong when he returned from his loan stint at Pride Park, which ended before the conclusion of the Premier League term.
It will be a big step up from the Championship, but there is certainly an opening for Armstrong to grab this summer to land a spot in the starting XI.
What David Moyes said about Harrison Armstrong’s Everton chances
Moyes has opened the door for Armstrong at Everton, having admitted he will get an opportunity to claim a spot in the side.
A big summer awaits the youngster who will be travelling to the United States with the first team for the Summer Series.
Being able to promote a player from the ranks to the starting XI would be a huge boost for the Friedkins who have an awful lot of signings to make this summer.
But Moyes has caveated Armstrong’s opportunity by admitting he still has to prove himself to earn a spot in his XI.
“Start of pre-season, we’ll bring him back in, and then we’ll decide then,” he said towards the end of last season.
“We like him and we want him around. But we might think about another loan, but credit to him for going to the Championship and getting a starting position.”
