Newcastle ready to up bid for ex-Man Utd man Anthony Elanga.
Toon Ready to Splash £50m for Anthony Elanga in Summer Shake-Up
Newcastle Utd are set to raise their offer for Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga as part of a £140m summer rebuild. Eddie Howe’s side had a £45m bid turned down earlier this week. But, they are now ready to come back with a fresh £50m offer for the Swedish winger.
Elanga is a promising talent from Manchester United. He is now Howe’s top priority to fill the right-wing slot. With the Magpies looking to add firepower to their squad before the new season. They are also focused on other targets such as Jacob Ramsey at Aston Villa and Antoine Semenyo at Bournemouth.
The Toons’ head coach is keen to bring in quality before pre-season training starts on July 7. There are at least two signings likely by then.
🚨 A TRIPLE bid worth £125m for Joao Pedro, Anthony Elanga AND James Trafford has been made by Newcastle!

Joao Pedro & James Trafford Also in Toon Plans
Newcastle are chasing Brighton’s Joao Pedro and Burnley keeper James Trafford to complete a big-money triple signing. The club is ready to fight Chelsea for Pedro. He is valued at around £60m. Pedro was previously on Howe’s radar during his Watford days before Newcastle signed Alexander Isak.
Brighton may now be willing to cash in. This comes after Pedro was left out of their last two games following a training bust-up. In goal, Newcastle are lining up a £30m deal for Trafford. He is now free to leave Burnley following their recent signing of German keeper Max Weiss.
The Toons tried to sign Trafford last summer but were prevented from doing so due to PSR issues. Nevertheless, the UCL money is increasing their financial firepower. Now, the Magpies are in a good position at the moment to secure all of their three targets.
