Chelsea fans are just weeks away from getting their first look at one of the most promising players in world football playing for their side.
Estevao Willian will be joining Enzo Maresca’s side when the Club World Cup comes to an end, with him currently representing Palmeiras there as part of the agreement that was reached to sign him.
There is a chance Chelsea will actually play against Estevao in the competition, if both sides are able to win their Round of 16 tie.
Palmeiras fans are actually unhappy with Estevao right now. The youngster has struggled to contain his excitement about being set to move to Stamford Bridge soon.
It looks as if he will not be the only winger making the switch this summer. Chelsea are closing in on signing Jamie Gittens this summer from Borussia Dortmund.

Worrying Estevao Willian claim made as Chelsea close in on signing Jamie Gittens
It has been reported that Chelsea are giving in to the Bundesliga side’s demands in terms of the price tag, and the signing could be closed imminently.
ESPN pundit Gabriel Marcotti has claimed that he isn’t as convinced Estevao will make an immediate impact anymore, believing Gittens will need time to develop in a blue shirt too.
He said: “It’s clearly a development case. And I look at where Chelsea are with the wingers, and I said they are short on wingers, because they have Madueke and Neto in terms of experienced wingers. But you’re already bringing in Estevao, who is 18 years old, and presumably will need time to adapt.

“And in a year’s time, you have another winger coming in, Geovany Quenda, who you spent a ton of money on. So does it really make sense to go and blow 40/50/60m on yet another development project in Jamie Gittens? I get this whole accumulating assets thing, but this just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, unless they’re going to loan Estevao out somewhere.”

Estevao tipped for big things at Chelsea
While Gittens will be a very strong addition for Chelsea, the Brazil international is who most fans are pinning their hopes on in the long-term.
Estevao has been compared to Rodrygo, another winger who the Blues have been linked with ahead of a potential market opportunity.
Cole Palmer has already said he is excited about Estevao, and Chelsea supporters can’t wait to see the two of them combining in attack at Stamford Bridge.
With the youngster primarily featuring on the right of attack, there is more than enough room for both him and Gittens to make their mark at the same time.
