There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho doesn’t want to sign Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to the Super Lig side in recent weeks, with the player looking surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
[Futbol Arena](https://x.com/futbolarena/status/1938273949374115844) report on developments regarding Fenerbahce’s links with the Manchester United winger and they say Mourinho has vetoed the move for him.
The Portuguese coach is keen to strengthen in the wide attacking positions this summer after recent departures although at this stage the Fener boss isn’t interested in signing Sancho. Futbol Arena say Mourinho could change his mind further down the line, but it seems he has other targets.
These latest reports contradict [claims earlier this week](https://sportwitness.co.uk/player-said-to-have-accepted-e10m-wage-offer-to-leave-manchester-united/) that Sancho had agreed personal terms with the Istanbul club. It was reported the Yellow Canaries were prepared to give him a high salary and that negotiations had commenced with Manchester United.
Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea, but his performances weren’t enough to earn him a permanent transfer. Subsequently the London club paid a £5m penalty to send the player back to Manchester United.
He made 39 appearances whilst out on loan at Chelsea, scoring just four goals.
