**As June makes way for July on Tuesday, the new month also brings with it a new arrival for Newcastle United in the form of Spain U19 star Antonio Cordero.**
The 18-year-old winger will officially complete his move from Malaga to Newcastle United on 1st July when his contract expires with the La Liga 2 side, with Newcastle beating Real Madrid and Barcelona to the exciting youngster's signature.
The talented teenager has been representing Spain at the U19 European Championships, helping them all the way to the final, where an unfortunate own goal was enough to see the Netherlands grab victory and lift the trophy for the first time.
Cordero had a mixed tournament, shining at times, but he'll be haunted by his penalty miss in the 6-5 win over Germany in the semi-final on Monday.
Antonio Cordero almost won it for Spain in the U19s Euros final in Bucharest

However, despite that penalty miss, Cordero was a whisker away from being Spain's hero last night in Bucharest as he fired a stunning effort from outside of the box, which cannoned back off the post.
If you can't endure the choppy commentary editing in the video above, skip forward to 6:50 to see the neat piece of play on the edge of the Dutch box, which ultimately sees Cordero breaking free and beating his man before unleashing a fierce effort goalwards.
With the score level a the time, and the final result being only 1-0 thanks to a wicked deflection off the Spain goalkeeper, had Cordero's shot gone in, it may have been enough to seal a victory for Spain.
We want to see Antonio Cordero in action in pre-season

The close control shown by Cordero and the power on the shot were exciting enough to see as Newcastle fans, and while we don't expect to see Antonio Cordero in the black and white much next season, if at all, it's definitely a sign of promise from the youngster.
Newcastle are reportedly looking to loan the Spanish winger out next season. There was talk of him going back to Malaga, but that seems to have gone away now. As long as we find a good club playing at a decent level where he'll get plenty of minutes, we'll be happy.
We've still got our fingers crossed that he travels with the squad this summer and we see him in action in the pre-season friendlies.
