Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has long been linked with a move to Everton.
David Moyes is in need of a new midfielder, with Abdoulaye Doucoure departing Everton on a free transfer.
Therefore, Everton are eyeing a move for Ndidi, who has just suffered relegation with Leicester City last season.
The Nigeria international is easily one of the Foxes’ best players and has been a crucial part of their team since 2017.

Leicester fans told to brace for player exit speculation
Leicester City barely put up a fight last season as they were relegated from the Premier League.

Now back in the Championship for a second time in three years, promotion will be expected from the Foxes fanbase.
However, Leicester may face a challenge in keeping some of their biggest stars.
Everton-linked Jamie Vardy has recently left the Foxes upon the expiry of his contract.
Now, Ndidi could follow the striker out of the door, with Lee Hendrie worried that the “versatile” midfielder will be moved on now that Leicester have been relegated.

Ndidi has been an important player for Leicester
However, the Sky Sports pundit has insisted that Everton should pursue the 28-year-old as “there’s a lot more to come from him.”
He told Football League World (27 June): “It was only a few seasons back where we were really highlighting how important Wilfred Ndidi was for Leicester and what he did and brought to that Leicester side.
“I think he’s played in different roles over the last couple of seasons, where he’s been able to play a little bit more advanced. So he showed that he’s got the versatility of sitting and going and joining in, where he can be a force. He’s a big physical man.
“And obviously he’s being linked with the likes of Everton and Manchester United, but I do feel, and I will say this: teams that get relegated, unfortunately, you’re bigger players, your key players, your more influential players will always get linked away. That’s the disappointment for Leicester.
“But, yes, I still think there’s a lot more to come from Wilf Ndidi because I don’t feel that he matched the heights of what he was a good few seasons back where he was highly regarded. But he’s a versatile midfielder and there’s no surprise that clubs are looking at him.”

Ndidi could be a masterful signing for Everton
At just 28 years old, Ndidi could easily play in the Premier League for another five years.
The midfielder showed his quality multiple times in the past for the Foxes before he lost his form a couple of years back.
With Ndidi likely to be available for cheap, given the Foxes’ relegation, the signing could be masterful from Moyes.
If the 28-year-old can be returned to form, he could easily become one of Everton’s best players and return the Toffees back into the top half.
