West Ham are pursuing a new winger this summer as the future of Mohammed Kudus remains unclear.

Graham Potter is in desperate need of attacking reinforcements this summer if the Hammers are to avoid relegation.

With Kudus being heavily linked to Tottenham, West Ham are eyeing potential signings to replace the Ghanaian.

As a result, Potter is looking to sign Adama Bojang. The Gambian international is highly rated, with the 21-year-old attracting interest from multiple clubs across Europe this summer.

West Ham and Brentford hold talks to sign Bojang

West Ham have had a long-standing interest in Bojang, who is valued at around £5 million.

The Hammers have been linked with the winger throughout the summer transfer window after his successful loan at Grasshopper.

However, according to SunSport (27 June), Potter may now miss out on the Reims star.

The report states that Brentford have begun talks to sign the youngster this summer.

However, West Ham remain in the race and have also spoken to the player’s representatives.

If Potter misses out on African forward Bojang, it would be humiliating for the Hammers.

Reports already suggest that West Ham-linked Jadon Sancho could be off to Juventus.

If this transpires, that means the London club will have already missed out on two targets whom they have been linked with all summer.

Potter’s transfer business is worrying

With July just around the corner, there have been few substantial links to the Hammers.

While West Ham do have PSR concerns, the lack of movement in the market is worrying.

After the awful end to the 2024/25 campaign, Potter is desperate for reinforcements all over the pitch.

However, a good chunk of the players West Ham are linked with appear to be off elsewhere.

Hopefully, over the coming days, Potter can convince Bojang to ditch Brentford for the Hammers to help add some depth to their attacking forces.
