Fabrizio Romano shares what he's hearing about Arsenal move to sign Eze

Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on Arsenal's move to sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze in his exclusive GIVEMESPORT newsletter.

The Gunners are looking to strengthen their forward line after a third consecutive runners-up finish in the Premier League under Mikel Arteta, while they also made it to the Champions League semi-finals before defeat to eventual winners PSG.

Several names have been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium position, with Eagles star Eze the latest, and Romano has now shared an update on the situation.

Arsenal Keen on Eberechi Eze

GIVEMESPORT sources revealed on Thursday that the Gunners have added Eze to their list of options for the left-wing role, with his £60m release clause proving to be good value in the market currently.

When asked about how serious the north London club's interest is in the England international, Romano shared that there is nothing advanced currently.

"He’s been discussed internally but same for more players at winger position. Nothing advanced yet so far."

Eze has a release clause that can be paid in three installments, and Arsenal are keen on the former QPR man, while Tottenham Hotspur are also showing an interest as they look to strengthen Thomas Frank's squad.

The 26-year-old is not the only option on Arsenal's shortlist, however, with the club also showing a strong interest in Real Madrid sensation Rodrygo at left-wing, although they are also waiting on the Brazilian star to make a decision on his future with the Spanish side.

Arsenal have already strengthened their squad with the imminent additions of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea as a back-up goalkeeper and Christian Norgaard from Brentford to replace the outgoing Thomas Partey, while Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi is also set to join the club.

A number nine is also seen as a priority signing this summer with the club in talks for both Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres, after being priced out of a move for dream target Alexander Isak.
