Manchester United’s pursuit of one notable defender has reportedly slowed as the player’s current club steps up contract talks.
That player is Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite.
The 23-year-old centre-back played a crucial role in Everton’s turnaround last season, helping the Toffees avoid relegation and finish 13th following David Moyes’ arrival.
