Leeds United are preparing a new bid for Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz, having already seen a £26m offer rejected by Marco Silva’s side.
That’s [according to TNT Sports Brasil](https://x.com/TNTSportsBR/status/1938578160561402251), who report that Newcastle United are another side keeping an eye on the Fulham striker’s situation.
Leeds are keen to spend this summer and strengthen Daniel Farke’s side after securing their return back to the Premier League.
Strengthening their forward line appears to be a priority, with several options targeted already and certainly on their radar. Muniz is one of them and TNT report that they’ve already seen a bid rejected for the 24-year-old.
That, though, has not deterred them and they’re already preparing a second bid. That will presumably be worth more than the £26m they’ve already seen turned down by Fulham.
They’re not in any rush to sell despite Muniz’s contract expiring next summer as they have an option to extend it to 2027. The fact that Newcastle are also keeping an eye on his situation could play into their hands.
They would certainly like an auction to develop and it’s up to Leeds to present an offer that can now convince them.
