Como midfielder Dele Alli is still fondly remembered at Everton despite not spending much time at Goodison Park.
The former Tottenham star struggled to find form during his time with the Toffees, and he eventually joined Como as a free agent in January 2025.
While the 29-year-old is no longer associated with the Blues, he could potentially help David Moyes and The Friedkin Group (TFG) pull off a bargain transfer.
With complications arising in signing Fulham right-back Kenny Tete after a new contract offer at Craven Cottage, the Merseyside outfit may soon turn their attention to other targets.

The Saints’ right-back will become a free agent soon once his current contract expires, allowing the Toffees to seal a bargain transfer.

Moyes has Walker-Peters on his radar at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and Alli could potentially help push his English compatriot’s transfer to the Blues in the coming days as the Como star shared a video of them training together on his Instagram story (27 June).
The Merseyside outfit evidently need to bolster their defence this summer, and the 28-year-old seems like the perfect option as he possesses Premier League experience and will be available for free.

Tete must make decision soon as Moyes can’t wait for transfer decision
Tete’s move to Bramley-Moore Dock seemed imminent after reports that he had agreed terms with the Toffees, but Fulham have put a spanner in the works.
Moyes can’t wait for the Netherlands international to make a decision on his future and should instead turn his attention to Walker-Peters.
While the Englishman suffered relegation with Southampton, his qualities have been evident for several years now.
Everton will be getting a versatile defender in the 28-year-old, as he’s capable of playing on both flanks and as a centre-back.
Ashley Young won’t be part of Moyes’ squad next season, and the Toffees undoubtedly need a backup option at right-back and left-back.
Vitalii Mykolenko doesn’t seem to have any competition in the team, while Jake O’Brien played out of position as a right-back after the Scottish manager’s appointment.
Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson’s futures are uncertain at the moment, and Walker-Peters’ signing seems like a no-brainer for the Merseysiders.
