ESPN analyst and former New York Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum seemed to make a crack about Brian Windhorst’s weight during a Get Up segment on Friday, June 27. Tannenbaum made a comment about Windhorst being in the cafeteria while discussing Aaron Rodgers.
On the Friday, June 27 episode of Get Up — which was largely full of B-team players as Dan Graziano was filling in for Mike Greenberg as host — the panel was discussing whether or not they think Aaron Rodgers will be able to deliver the Pittsburgh Steelers their first playoff win since the 2016 season.
For whatever reason, Mike Tannenbaum — one of the more obtuse and clueless analysts that ESPN employees — used the question to take a shot at Windhorst, saying that he’s more sure he’s “in the cafeteria.”
Tannenbaum’s odd response immediately caught the attention of Garziano (we think, it’s hard to tell), who tried to smooth out the situation by adding “No idea where Windy is.”

Tannenbaum has been an analyst at ESPN since 2019. Prior to that, he served as general manager and senior VP of football operations for the New York Jets from 2006 to 2012, and was the executive vice president of football operations for the Miami Dolphins from 2015 to 2018.
Windhorst, on the other hand, is one of ESPN’s longest tenured analysts having joined the network in 2010 after LeBron James — whom he previously covered during his time at the Akron Beacon Journal and Cleveland’s The Plain Dealer — signed with the Miami Heat.
