Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has been one of the hottest subjects of transfer talks this summer, as he is expected to change clubs, Soccernet.ng.
Over the last five years, the 26-year-old marksman has proven to be reliable, as he has shone in France, Italy, and Turkey. However, his stock has increased significantly since his heroics for the Partenopeans three seasons ago, when he led them to their first Serie A title in over 30 years.
Last year, Osimhen was expected to leave Naples, amid numerous talks linking him with a transfer to the English Premier League. Unfortunately for him, he did not get his move. Due to his protracted transfer, Osimhen fell out with Napoli.
He was excluded from the club's plans for the campaign and had to join Turkish giants Galatasaray in a season-long loan transfer. At Galatasaray, he excelled, helping the club to the Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup with a healthy return of 37 goals and eight assists in 41 appearances.
Now that the season is over, Osimhen's future is back in the balance. In fact, he's probably in a tighter situation now, as Galatasaray now want to sign him permanently.
Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal made several attempts to sign him last summer, but they failed. Now, they are back this summer and are even willing to pay up to €40 million per year.
Meanwhile, it is understood that Osimhen's main target is the Premier League. And although most of the clubs have been linked with him, only a few really have him in their sights.
Clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea do not appear as potential destinations, as Chelsea seem committed to signing only under-23 players, while Arsenal's main target is Benjamin Sesko.
In this article Soccernet.ng spotlights three clubs that Osimhen will likely join this summer.
1. Liverpool
Liverpool have been on a spending spree this summer, as they have doled out well over €200 million on reinforcements. But they aren't done in the transfer market yet.
Liverpool's summer spending hits £187m and we're not in July yet.

They are still expected to push out a few players and sign replacements. Striker Darwin Nunez will likely join Napoli this summer, and they will have to sign a replacement.
Liverpool have already been linked with Hugo Ekitike, but he is too expensive, as Eintracht Frankfurt want a fee in the region of €100 million. Victor Osimhen would be less expensive, as he is valued at around €70 million.

Liverpool have been linked with the Super Eagles star recently, and they would definitely consider him. There is a good chance that the Super Eagles star could land at Merseyside.
2. Manchester United
The Red Devils are also in need of attacking reinforcements. They've completed to signing of Matheus Cunha and are favourites to signing Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.

However, they are far from done, as they still need to make 3-4 signings at least to compete with the big boys next season.
Manchester United have been linked with Victor Osimhen this summer, but they are yet to make a bid. That could still change though.

Moreover, among all the top strikers in Europe, Osimhen is one of the cheapest options. This makes him an enticing option for them.
3. Galatasaray
The Turkish Super Lig is not one of the best in Europe, but Galatasaray are definitely trying to make an impression.
They have already signed Leroy Sane in a free transfer this summer and they are paying him big money. This is a statement that they want to compete well in Europe.
Leroy Sane's contract at Galatasaray is set to be worth upward of £300,000-a-week. It's a 3-year deal.

The fans love Osimhen, the club also wants him badly. If the Super Eagles star does not get an offer from the big boys, he will definitely consider joining Galatasaray permanently.
