The Millard North alum started his career at Loyola Chicago before transferring to Northern Colorado, where he averaged 19.7 points, 9.8 rebounds and 4.2 assist per game as a junior in 2023-24.
He spent his final year of eligibility at USC, where his averages dipped to 9.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game in the Big Ten.
The Summer League deal allows Thomas to reunite with his former high school teammate and Wake Forest product Hunter Sallis, who also went undrafted and signed a two-way deal with the 76ers.
Chucky Hepburn and Hunter Sallis both will begin their NBA careers on two-way contracts.
