Liverpool have signed Florian Wirtz as their statement signing. The German attacker has costed them £104 million. He is now expected to get directly into the starting lineup. Wirtz can play in variety of positions and as of now it seems like he can be used as attacking midfielder.

The Blues are joined by Brighton & Hove Albion, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund in the race. As of now, the Seagulls are showing strongest interest amongst the interest clubs. They are ready to step up their interest as the 22 year old is their top target.
Brighton are preparing an offer worth around £40 million to sign Elliot. They are confident to get the deal over the line. The Seagulls are also ready to offer Elliot regular gametime. Lastly, they beleive that former Liverpool star James Milner will play a big role in the potential deal.
