Chucky Hepburn, Terrence Edwards and Reyne Smith sign with NBA squads

While no Louisville players heard their names called during the 2025 NBA Draft, three Cardinals were quickly swooped up by NBA squads following the draft.

Chucky Hepburn, the 2025 ACC Defensive Player of the Year, has agreed to a two-way contract with the Toronto Raptors. Meanwhile, Terrence Edwards has agreed to play for the Milwaukee Bucks during the NBA Summer League, while Reyne Smith will suit up for the Denver Nuggets.

All three Cardinals will look to join Deng Adel (Cleveland Cavaliers, 2018), Jaylen Johnson (Chicago Bulls, 2018), Mangok Mathiang (Charlotte Hornets, 2017) and Damion Lee (Atlanta Hawks/Golden State Warriors, 2017) as Louisville players who reached the NBA despite going undrafted.

Best of luck to the fellas in the weeks and months ahead.
