Samuel Mbangula drops cryptic social media message that will have alerted Nottingham Forest

Samuel Mbangula remains in discussions to join Nottingham Forest and his latest social media post gave a clear insight into how he is feeling at Juventus.

Forest want to sign Mbangula in what initially looked to be a double deal with Juventus, but interest in Timothy Weah has cooled on both sides after Weah wanted Forest to double his wage.

The Belgian winger seems far more keen on the move, though, even if Juventus fans want to keep Mbangula due to his high potential.

This feeling clearly isn’t felt by Juve boss Igor Tudor, though, who forced Mbangula into a social media reaction after his latest decision at the Club World Cup.

Samuel Mbangula takes to Instagram after Juventus snub

The Club World Cup could be a reason why certain deals have been held up, with Igor Jesus’ arrival at Forest delayed because of it.

However, Mbangula’s exit from Juventus shouldn’t share the same delays, given that he is yet to play a single minute in the competition. His latest snub came on Thursday evening against Manchester City, taking him to social media.

On Instagram, Mbangula posted a bible verse which read: “The pain that you’ve been feeling can’t compare to the joy that is coming.”

Clearly a reference to his departure from Juventus, Mbangula seems to possess the drive to make his next step a good one, but Forest aren’t the only potential suitor for the winger.

Another Premier League side are interested in Samuel Mbangula

With Ramon Sosa set to depart Forest, there will be a space available in the Forest squad for Mbangula to fit in, but only if the Reds secure his signature fast.

According to Tuttosport, AFC Bournemouth are also interested in Mbangula, as well as an unnamed side in Germany.

The report said: “Nottingham Forest are very interested, but the player would like to evaluate other offers first. Bournemouth is on the lookout, but in the background a German club is also said to be making an advance.”

Mbangula’s position at Juventus is clearly untenable, which will have alerted Bournemouth as well as Forest, so Evangelos Marinakis must move to secure the Belgian fast.
