Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has asked to sign Argentine shot-stopper. The player has already impressed in Premier League with Aston Villa. He is very heavily linked with move to Manchester United.

The star in question here is Emi Martinez of Aston Villa. He is 33 years old and has been one of the best keepers in the world in recent seasons. He has helped Argentina national team to win World Cup and Copa America. In addition, he has also played major role in Villa’s recent success under Unai Emery.

Chelsea are also in need of a new keeper. Robert Sanchez who is the current first choice keeper has not been able to impress at West London. He too has commited multiple errors last season. The Blues tried to sign Mike Maignan earlier, but the deal failed. Now, they can try to sign Martinez but will have to spend lot more than Maignan deal.
