Barcelona and Mallorca finalizing €5m deal for Pablo Torre

Barcelona and _La Liga_ side Mallorca are close to finalizing a deal for the transfer of 22-year-old attacking midfielder Pablo Torre, according to [a report from Diario AS](https://as.com/futbol/pablo-torre-cerca-de-ser-jugador-mallorquinista-n/).

The two sides are in agreement on a €5 million transfer fee for 50% of the player’s rights, and the only detail remaining is the buyback clause: Barça want to make sure they can acquire Torre back depending on his performance, and the clubs are currently negotiating an amount between 10 and 12 million, according to the report.

A deal for 50% of Torre’s rights also means Barça would receive half the profits from a future sale if they decide not to bring the player back, but according to reports from Catalonia the _Blaugrana_ will keep a close eye on Torre’s development in the Balearic Islands with the intention of activating the buyback clause.

Hansi Flick is reportedly still a fan and wants Torre to get significant playing time for a solid top flight team to continue his growth, and the door is not yet closed on Pablo Torre’s Camp Nou career. If he has a great season or two in Mallorca, we could very well see him in a Barça uniform again.
