Malick Fofana has been a player constantly linked with a Liverpool move for the past couple of weeks.
The attacker is a hot topic in the footballing world at the moment, with more than 10 clubs from around the world interested in acquiring his services.
And, as per a fresh report from TEAMtalk, it seems like Everton have made an enquiry for the Belgian.
While the attacker would likely choose Liverpool over the Toffees if it came down to it, the fact that they’re speaking to Lyon about his future is enough to derail the Reds’ chase.

Angelo Stiller is a midfielder who was heavily linked with a Liverpool move as soon as the transfer window opened.
Over the last few weeks, however, thanks to Wataru Endo choosing to stay at Liverpool and Slot focusing his attention on other targets, a deal between the clubs isn’t close.
And, even though most fans will have accepted that they won’t be signing the German, a report from Spanish outlet Defensa Central has made that abundantly clear.
According to the report, Real Madrid is Stiller’s ‘ideal destination’ and he wants to wait until they let him know their plans before he entertains any offers from other teams.

Luis Diaz’s Liverpool future has dominated headlines for as long as many can remember.
At the start of June, it felt like the Colombia international was nailed on to sign for Barcelona but after Liverpool rejected the Catalan outfit’s first offer, talks died down.
Now, however, as per a new update from Pipe Sierra, Diaz is ‘upset’ with Liverpool as they’ve gone back on their ‘stance’ with the club going back on their word.
This comes after the Reds don’t want to sell the winger, but also don’t want to extend his current contract, which only has two years left on it.
Only time will tell what the future has in store for the attacker, but with the way things are headed, it looks like he’ll be seeing out these next two years with Liverpool and then moving on for a free transfer in 2027.
