San Francisco 49ers cornerback [Deommodore Lenoir](/players/deommodore-lenoir/) was arrested Thursday in Los Angeles and charged on a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest, the Los Angeles Police Department told NFL Media.
Lenoir, 25, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department's Inmate Information Center, and was released Friday on his own recognizance.
Lenoir is due in L.A. Superior Court on July 25.
According to the LAPD, Lenoir's arrest charge was for penal code 148(a)(1), also known as resisting arrest: "Every person who willfully resists, delays, or obstructs and public officer, peace officer, or an emergency medical technician."
Lenoir was arrested along with Marcus Cunningham, 25. Cunningham was charged on felony possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle.
Lenoir is a Los Angeles native who attended Salesian High.
A fifth-round selection out of Oregon in the 2021 NFL Draft, Lenoir has played four seasons with the 49ers. A fixture in the starting lineup since his second season, Lenoir has played in 62 career games with 47 starts, six interceptions and 265 tackles. He signed a four-year, $92 million [extension](https://www.nfl.com/news/niners-cb-deommodore-lenoir-agree-to-five-year-92m-extension) with San Francisco during the 2024 season, one in which he started 15 games and recorded 85 tackles.
