Jadon Sancho’s future continues to hang in the balance as Manchester United step up efforts to offload the winger ahead of pre-season.
The 25-year-old has spent the last two seasons on loan, split between Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.
Neither club opted to trigger a permanent deal.
Chelsea, who had a £25 million option to buy, instead paid £5 million to cancel the obligation due to Sancho’s high wage demands.

Demands which are believed to be around £300,000 per week.
With United and Ruben Amorim determined to move Sancho on, the England international has become a difficult sell in the current market.
Napoli, Juventus, and Fenerbahce had all shown concrete interest.
However, each deal has been held back by either Sancho’s salary or his own preferences for staying in Europe’s top five leagues.
Fenerbahce, managed by former Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho, were thought to be leading the race.
News of Sancho being offered a lucrative contract by the club circulated earlier this week.
The Turkish giants were able to meet his financial terms.

However, according to Turkish source Fanatik, the deal has now collapsed after Mourinho personally blocked the transfer.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss reportedly raised concerns about Sancho’s commitment and professionalism.
Qualities he views as non-negotiable in his rebuilding plans at the Istanbul club.
It’s claimed Mourinho, who shares a strong relationship with Amorim, understands why the Premier League side are keen to move the player on.
He believes Sancho lacks the motivation to truly integrate and fears he would be joining for financial reasons rather than ambition.
With Fenerbahce pulling out, Sancho is left with very few options.
That is unless he lowers his wage expectations or changes his stance on playing outside Europe’s top leagues.
