San Francisco 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir was arrested in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 26, according to multiple reports
Lenoir was charged with obstructing justice, the Los Angeles Police Department said

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir has been arrested and charged with obstructing justice, according to multiple reports.
ESPN and NFL Media reported that Lenoir, 25, was arrested in Los Angeles, Calif. around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 26. He was reportedly released from jail on Friday morning.
The Los Angeles Police Department told ESPN that Lenoir was arrested after officers observed a gun inside a parked vehicle when approaching Lenoir and a group of others on Thursday. The group of men reportedly tossed the vehicle's keys off to one another in an attempt to hide them from police officers.

A man named Marcus Cunningham was also arrested on Thursday alongside Lenoir, NFL Media reported. Cunningham, 25, is being charged with felony possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle.
Lenoir is scheduled to appear in court next month, per ESPN's review of jail records.
The San Francisco 49ers told NFL Media, "We are aware of the matter involving Deommodore Lenoir and are in the process of gathering further information," in a team statement on Friday. The 49ers and the NFL did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
Lenoir is a native of Los Angeles. He was drafted by San Francisco in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft and has been in the starting lineup since his second season with the team. Lenoir has started 47 games and played in 62, recording six interceptions and 265 tackles.
During the 2024 season, Lenoir signed a four-year contract extension worth $92 million.
