HOGANSVILLE, Ga. (WTVM) -Callaway High School held its annual youth football camp Friday morning with a special guest host: former Cavalier standout and current Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby.
“Just seeing where I come from and the environment and how I grew and developed as a kid to an adult, to a high school player, to a college player, to the NFL and a professional football player,” Bigsby said. “It’s a blessing and the opportunity of a lifetime.”
Bigsby starred at Callaway, earning Under Armour All-American honors before committing to Auburn University. During his three seasons with the Tigers, he rushed for 2,906 yards and 25 touchdowns and was named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Year in 2020.
He declared for the NFL Draft following his junior season and was selected in the third round by the Jaguars.
