Cooper Flagg Turned Heads With His Outfit During Dallas Arrival

After getting selected by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2025 NBA Draft, Cooper Flagg has officially left New York and headed to Texas to join his new team. Upon his arrival in Dallas, however, Flagg trended for a different reason.

Flagg's arrival in Dallas provides hope for a Mavericks franchise that lost the trust of a majority of its fan base after trading Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers. The 18-year-old forward is expected to make an immediate impact on the team, with pre-draft scouting reports highlighting that he's one of the most NBA-ready and polished players in his class.

Amid the buzz about his potential impact on the Mavs, however, fans couldn't help but talk about Flagg's outfit when he touched down in the city on Friday.

Flagg was wearing a matching tracksuit from New Balance, along with a Dallas Mavericks hat and white sneakers. Fans quickly pointed out his attire, which doesn't fit the hot summer climate of the state.

"You’re in Dallas now bro. U can take off that jacket," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "bro fina be more confused then a flea in a stuffed animal with our weather."

"He might want to change from those hot sweats to shorts and a t-shirt!" a fan added.

A supporter joked, "That heat gonna make him come outta that attire real quick."

"haha yes get some Climacool, you’re in TX now," a follower jokingly shared.

A sixth social media user wondered, "How he not hot in that."

"Clearly no one told Cooper to dress light. This Dallas heat will get ya in those sweats!" a poster noted.

It will definitely be interesting to see how quickly Cooper Flagg can adjust to the Mavericks and playing alongside Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson and eventually Kyrie Irving. For now, though, he will probably need to adjust his wardrobe to the Dallas climate.
