Leeds United continue to be linked with a number of transfer targets as Daniel Farke continues to shape his side ahead of their return to the Premier League. The club's ownership have already shown they're willing to back the German head coach in the summer transfer market with the signings of Lukas Nmecha and Jaka Bijol.
The former of those represents a shrewd piece of business, while Bijol arrives at Elland Road highly-rated, from his time in Italy. Leeds know they'll have to invest into the playing squad this summer if they want to avoid relegation back to the Championship.
All six of the teams promoted in the last two seasons have succumb to the drop and the current transfer window will play a major part in staying up next season.
With that in mind, LeedsLive has taken a look at the latest Leeds transfer news and rumours;
New striker bid after '£26m offer rejected'
TNT Sport Brasil reckons that Leeds are plotting a fresh bid for Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz after seeing a £26m bid rejected. Reporter Fred Caldeira claims the Whites are preparing a second bid after their first was rejected by the Cottagers.
Despite having had an approach rebuffed, Leeds have not been put off, and are said to be looking to up their bid. Muniz, who scored eight goals and notched one assist in 31 Premier League outings last season, is under contract until the summer of 2026 with Fulham having the option to extend his deal by another year.
Premier League rivals Newcastle United are, also, said to be keeping a close eye on developments.
LeedsLive says: "Sky Sports shut down any talk of a departure from Fulham, earlier this week, so it's surprising to see reports claim the Whites will increase their bid. It's no secret that Farke wants to bolster his options up front, but it would be a shock to see them enter a bidding war for the Brazilian who doesn't have the best goal-scoring record."
Midfield transfer target in 'advanced talks'
French media outlet L'Equipe indicates Leeds are set to miss out on the signing of Reims midfielder Amadou Kone, who is closing in on a move to Saudi Arabian outfit Neom. The newspaper claims the Whites, and Ligue 1 side OGC Nice, are both keen on a move for the midfielder.
However, it states that Neom could quickly strike up a €12million (£10.25m) deal. The report claims that the Saudi Arabian side are, also, close to signing former Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.
Kone only joined Reims from Mali two ago - and has a contract that currently runs until the summer of 2028 - but talks are advancing between the French club and Neom.
LeedsLive says: "The Whites are understandably being linked with a whole host of targets this summer, but when Saudi Arabian clubs are being linked with the same players, financially, there's little point in trying to compete."
