Leeds United readying second offer to sign Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz
Leeds made their interest formal with Fulham regarding their striker Rodrigo Muniz early in June, submitting a £26million bid with £6million in add-ons on top.
However, the Cottagers rejected the approach with reports more recently stating that the striker is not for sale under Marco Silva.

Now, TNT Sports Brazil claim that the Whites are readying a second offer for the South American forward, as Newcastle United also monitor his situation in West London.
Muniz is under contract for another 12 months, but Fulham hold an option to extend his deal by another year to 2027.
Leeds United may have to break club record to sign Rodrigo Muniz this summer
Given that a £32million offer was dismissed quite sternly by Fulham, it seems pretty clear that if Leeds are to sign Muniz this summer, it’s going to take a fee that likely eclipses the £36million paid to Hoffenheim for Georginio Rutter, the club’s current transfer record.
He’s the exact mould of striker that Leeds need this summer to lead the line and fire in the goals to keep them in the Premier League, and you certainly get what you pay for.
With that, the club might see fit to pay a lot of money to ensure they have someone that is capable of doing what a surviving Premier League striker does.
Leeds need to be outstanding in both boxes to stay in the league, and that means a striker that will hit double figures, and a goalkeeper that can win points on their own.
