A look at the top 10 scorers in Crystal Palace’s history, including some pretty recent favourites.
Crystal Palace enriched their history in the spring of 2025, winning the FA Cup and securing their first major title in the club’s history. The Eagles also secured their first-ever European qualification with that FA Cup win, and the Eagles are looking forward to what they hope will be the brightest era.
But here we take a look at the past, specifically at the top 10 goalscorers of all time, including some Palace favourites like Wilfried Zaha, Clinton Morrison and Dougie Freedman. Join us for the countdown below.
10. Wilfried Zaha - 90
The most recent name on this list, Zaha was a Palace favourite, starting his professional career with the club in 2010 before his move to Manchester United in 2013. He then returned in 2014 and picked up where he left off, ultimately leaving in 2023. The winger scored 90 goals in all for the Eagles, and made 458 appearances in all.
9. Alfred Dawes - 92
Dawes played for Palace across two separate spells. He first represented the club between 1933 and 1936, and he returned for a second spell in 1938 to 1939. He had an impressive goal record of 92 goals in just 156 games. Dawes started his career with Northampton Town.

7. George Clarke - 106
Clarke played for Palace all the way back in 1925, leaving in 1933. He scored 106 goals in 299 games and is the only midfielder on this list of strikers. Clarke spent much of his career with Palace but also briefly represented Aston Villa and QPR.
6. Dougie Freedman - 107
Freedman scored 108 goals in 368 appearances between two spells, first between 1995 and 1997, then again between 2000 and 2008. He went on to become Palace manager, and he spent years as the club’s sporting director, a position he left in 2025. Freedman achieved some excellent recruitment work during his time in that role.
5. Clinton Morrison - 113
Morrison played for Palace on two occasions, first between 1998 and 2002, and then again between 2005 and 2008. Across those two spells, he scored 113 goals. He made 26 appearances for the Republic of Ireland during his career and now works as a pundit.

Wright represented Palace between 1985 and 1991 before going on to enjoy a stellar career at the very top level. He averaged 0.43 goals per game as a young player with Palace, racking up a very impressive number of goals - 118.
