Liverpool have kicked off the summer transfer window with a bang, already welcoming six new faces and shelling out a whopping £216million.
Following a subdued 2024 summer where Federico Chiesa was the lone recruit, the Reds have seized this opportunity to beef up their title-winning squad.
Arne Slot's side have been bolstered by some thrilling signings, with Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and Freddie Woodman being the latest additions.
Wirtz made the switch from Bayer Leverkusen for a cool £116m, while Kerkez bid farewell to Bournemouth for a move to Merseyside in a £40m deal, reports the Mirror.
They're joined by Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer Leverkusen: £29.5m), Armin Pecsi (Puskas Akademia: £1.5m), Giorgi Mamardashvili (Valencia: £29m) and Woodman (Preston: free) on the shopping list.

Liverpool have struck a deal to snap up Blackpool's young midfielder Gabriel Schluter. According to Football Insider, the 16-year-old is slated for a medical next week before sealing a transfer for a six-figure sum.
Schluter has reportedly turned heads among scouts and Fulham and Stockport were also in touch with Blackpool. But it's Liverpool who've clinched the deal and they'll be hoping the youngster can flourish in their renowned academy.
Blackpool's gaffer Steve Bruce recently voiced his frustration over larger clubs swooping in for young talents like Schluter. "If a Premier League team comes calling, then we understand. It's frustrating, but they are the rules," he expressed.

Luis Diaz

Bayern Munich might set their sights on Luis Diaz or Cody Gakpo after missing out on other prospects. With Leroy Sane off their books, Bayern need to bolster their wing, but have been a bit sluggish in securing other players.
Sporting director Max Eberl has lost out on Jamie Gittens, who's leaving Borussia Dortmund for Chelsea, and Nico Williams, who's likely to trade Athletic Bilbao for Barcelona. Sky Sports Germany correspondent Christian Falk suggests that Diaz and Gakpo could be alternative targets.
Diaz, previously linked with Barca and with just two years left on his contract, and Gakpo, whose agents have reportedly had preliminary chats with Eberl, could be on the radar. It's early days yet, but Bayern could be one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

The French defender has turned down the initial offer, reportedly feeling 'disappointed' by the club's valuation of him.
FootMercato reports that Konate is seeking a 'change of scenery' next summer and is therefore planning to see out his contract. Real Madrid are among the clubs showing interest in the centre-back.
