Arsenal have added Eberechi Eze to their list of transfer targets, joining Tottenham in the race for the Crystal Palace star, writes Dom Smith.
Arsenal are tracking a number of versatile attackers this summer as they look to sign a wide player able to provide competition for Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, and Standard Sport understands that Eze has been added to the list.
Eze also remains of interest to long-time admirers Spurs, who have a close relationship with - and a number of key players signed to - Eze’s agency, CAA Base.
He could leave Crystal Palace this summer with his contract at Selhurst Park said to contain a £68million release clause, payable in three instalments.

The Gunners remain in the market for a left winger and their search is ongoing, after missing out on Nico Williams and with a deal for Rodrygo appearing to be difficult.
Fichajes claim that Adeyemi has now emerged as an option for Arsenal, with the club increasingly turning their focus to the 23-year-old.
While that bid totals £62.5m, the reported Brentford asking price, it is thought that the Bees would like the deal to be worth more than that which United paid for Cunha earlier this month.
So report RMC Sport, who claim that manager Regent Le Bris would like a reunion with the player after coaching him in Lorient’s academy. He has since played for Arsenal and Marseille before moving to Serie A.
Benfica has emerged as a potential destination for Chelsea’s João Félix, whose future is again in flux following a difficult loan at AC Milan.
Felix has proven something of a square peg in a round hole throughout his career, undeniably talented but with his best position still undefined.
He enjoyed a semi-successful six-month loan from Atletico Madrid to Chelsea in 2023, scoring four goals in 16 League appearances, but could not reproduce that form after permanently joining the Blues last summer in a £45million deal.
He failed to impress Enzo Maresca, finding the back of the net just once in 12 appearances before being sent away to AC Milan, where his fortunes did not improve.

The Blues are not keen to sell him, but he has attracted considerable interest following a successful loan spell at Strasbourg.
Chelsea hope he will stay as a squad player according to BBC reports, but, as he has struggled for minutes at the Club World Cup, he could force a move away.
