Manchester United could see surplus-to-requirements winger Jadon Sancho depart the club shortly, according to reports from Italy - with the attack thought to be 'very close' to accepting a deal from Turin-based giants Juventus to end his nightmare spell in the north-west of England.
The former England international, who last made an appearance for the Three Lions in 2021, could find his rebirth in Serie A, having had the majority of his success abroad - and a deal taking him to Italy could be on the cards with the £250,000-per-week star 'close' to agreeing a deal with the 36-time Italian champions.

The report by journalist Marco Giordano on X (formerly Twitter) states that in terms of Sancho's potential move to Juventus, the winger is 'very close' to accepting a contract offer made from Bianconeri sporting director Damien Comolli.

There is a chance that the deal could be completed next week, once Comolli returns to Europe once Juventus' Club World Cup run comes to an end, once they face Real Madrid on Tuesday in Miami - and it's a deal that would end Sancho's torrid time at Old Trafford if they accept the bid.
Sancho joined United in the summer of 2021 as a 21-year-old, having excelled at Borussia Dortmund with 50 goals in 137 games for the Bundesliga side in all competitions, including 38 goals in 104 games at league level, prompting United chiefs to make a £73million move for the winger.
However, a poor first two seasons at the Theatre of Dreams resulted in Sancho only scoring 12 goals in 79 games in all competitions for United, and after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag at the start of the 2023/24 campaign due to 'poor training performances', his future became untenable.
The winger responded to Ten Hag's criticism on social media, with a period training away from the first-team eventually ending in a loan move back to Dortmund in January 2024. Although he performed relatively well in Germany, last summer saw him complete a loan move to Chelsea with an obligation-to-buy - but another underwhelming spell in the capital meant that Chelsea paid a £5million fine for the clause to be broken, meaning Sancho is on United's books once again for the time being.
