Liverpool starlet Harvey Elliott continues to be linked with a move away from Anfield this summer - and reports have emerged touting him for a move to Newcastle United, with the St. James' Park outfit keen on securing the signature of one of the country's leading young players to bolster their ranks ahead of a Champions League campaign.
13 goals in 27 caps for England's under-21 side has showcased his clear ability, and having made 147 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions with 15 goals to boot, he's been a regular throughout the campaign - but a more prominent role in black and white could be appealing to the young, 'special' attacker.

Elliott is thought to be open to leaving Anfield, and likewise the club would also be prepared to let him depart the club if the right offer comes in - with the Anfield club expected to ask for up to £50million for the England under-21 star.
His double in the semi-final against the Netherlands on Wednesday evening put Elliott back into the limelight, eliminating the young Oranje outfit with a brace in a 2-1 win - and Newcastle are amongst the teams interested in a potential deal for the Reds squad player.
Elliott joined Liverpool from Fulham in 2019 as a 16-year-old talent, having broken into the first-team a year earlier, becoming the youngest-ever player to feature in the League Cup in his time at Craven Cottage. Furthermore, he became the youngest Premier League player of all-time, before Arsenal prodigy Ethan Nwaneri broke that record three years later.
But a starting spot on Tyneside could be in the pipeline, especially with Eddie Howe's men needing a right-winger. Miguel Almiron departed the club in January, and with Jacob Murphy as their only senior choice in that position, recruits are needed.
The Toon made a £45million bid for Anthony Elanga earlier in the week, which was rejected out of hand by Nottingham Forest - and alongside a move for Joao Pedro, a similar bid could be enough to take the youngster to the north-east with Champions League football to boot.
