Chelsea and Palmeiras will be looking to advance to the next round of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup during Saturday’s Round of 16 matches.

The Blues of London are set to square off with Portuguese football heavyweights, SL Benfica, at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, USA.

Chelsea booked their spot in the Round of 16 after finishing second in Group D, having secured two victories and one defeat against Brazil’s Flamengo.

The English giants will be up against a Benfica that were the Group C winners after securing two wins and one draw, which came against Boca Juniors of Argentina.

Meanwhile, Palmeiras will go head-to-head with their Brazilian rivals Botafogo at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, USA.

The Big Green advanced to the Round of 16 after finishing at the top of Group A, having registered two draws and one win, which came against Egypt’s Al Ahly.

Botafogo, on the other hand, finished second in Group B after securing two victories and losing to Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in their last group stage game.
