The Hornets have a premier Summer League schedule

Now that the 2025 NBA Draft is in the books, the league has set [the schedule](https://ak-static.cms.nba.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/46/2025/06/NBA-2K26-Summer-League-2025-Schedule.pdf) for the NBA 2K26 Summer League in Las Vegas. The schedule makers always try to create some intrigue by matching up notable draft picks, and boy did they ever this season. After selecting Kon Knueppel fourth overall, the Hornets have one of the most must-watch schedules on the docket.

* Friday, July 11, 7:00pm Eastern vs Utah Jazz on ESPN

* Saturday, July 12, 6:30pm Eastern vs Philadelphia 76ers on ESPN2

* Monday, July 14, 6:30pm Eastern vs Dallas Mavericks on NBATV

* Thursday, July 17, 7:00pm Eastern vs San Antonio Spurs on ESPN

* TBD

All four of the Hornets games are against teams that picked alongside the Hornets in the top five of the draft. That means potential meetings with Cooper Flagg, Dylan Harper, VJ Edgecombe, and Ace Bailey. The only thing standing in the way of those match-ups is that players are inevitably going to be shut down before the last game of the summer league.

The Hornets will also play at least one more game after the scheduled four. If they win enough, they’ll advance to a four team playoff played on Saturday and Sunday. If not, they’ll play one more consolation game sometime between Friday and Sunday.

We haven’t gotten any official word from the team on who is going to be playing in the summer league, but we can take a guess at a starting point. And since it’s the summer league, you have to think that the Hornets have the best summer league roster. That’s what every fan of every team does right now.

The full official roster will be announced sometime in the next week or so.
