Bryan Mbeumo has told Brentford and Tottenham Hotspur that he wants to join Manchester United amid the ongoing transfer negotiations. Brentford are extracting the highest amount from the Red Devils, referring to the valuation of their early signing, Matheus Cunha.
The Bees rejected the opening offer of £45million plus £10m(£55m) from United, demanding a value higher than Cunha’s transfer fee. Ruben Amorim has prioritised the United’s attacking department at the early stages of the summer, before shifting his attention elsewhere.

According to The Athletic, Mbeumo has told Brentford and Tottenham that he wants to play for United amid fee negotiations. However, the Bees have rejected United’s second bid of £55m and £7.5m of bonuses (£62.5m), pushing for a bigger fee.
The Red Devils have faced a lot of obstacles during this transfer saga, as Spurs’ acquisition of former Brentford boss Thomas Frank complicated things. Under Frank, the London rivals pushed for Mbeumo, having Champions League football to offer along with a familiar face.
