Manchester United’s transfer activity has accelerated as Ruben Amorim starts to reconstruct his squad in anticipation of the forthcoming campaign.

Promising moments were mixed with long bouts of inactivity in front of goal during Rasmus Hojlund’s challenging season at Old Trafford.

The focus remains on signing players with Premier League experience, versatility, and the right mentality to adapt quickly at Old Trafford.

Since they are unable to play in the Champions League, United has recognised several attacking opportunities across Europe and is aware that they must act quickly to prevent losing out.

One of them is Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C.’s Brazilian sensation Matheus Cunha, with whom the Red Devils have agreed to a £62.5 million deal.

Across all competitions, Cunha scored 17 goals and got six assists during his stellar season with Wolves.

The Red Devils haven’t stopped there, however, and are now actively pursuing a move for Cameroon star Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford F.C.

Now, it seems that a move for another Premier League star is starting to cool down as the Red Devils suffer a blow with the price tag.

According to Sky Sports News via X, Manchester United have been put off by Bournemouth’s £70m valuation for Antoine Semenyo.

This comes as a blow with the clubs previously holding talks.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian international is a flexible option for Amorim’s system because of his speed, strength, and ability to play both centrally and on the flanks.

He has impressed this season.

For Andoni Iraola’s team, Antoine Semenyo has made a steady contribution by scoring goals and dishing out assists.

He has also distinguished himself with his work ethic and technical ability during transitions.

His Premier League experience and growth trajectory have made him a fascinating candidate for the coaching staff and Ruben Amorim, even though he might not be the big name many fans were hoping for.
