As we come to the end of June, it’s understandable that fans are eager to see the club move forward with transfer business this summer.

Whilst there is frustration, the club are working on potential deals while also seeking to offload players with the window expected to pick up.

However, reports in the press that we are in advanced talked with AS Saint-Étienne over striker Lucas Stassin, have been denied, although there is interest in the player.

Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, club insider ExWHUEmployee provided an update on the situation, whilst also advising further on our pre-season plans.

“West Ham have denied reports that they are in advanced talks for Belgium forward Lucas Stassin of AS Saint-Étienne,” stated Ex.
