Liverpool have been one of the busiest teams in the Premier League when it comes to transfers this summer.
The Reds have already added five new faces to their ranks, with three of them likely coming in to take a place in Arne Slot’s starting XI.
Liverpool have spent close to £200million on bolstering their ranks thus far, and to be honest, it doesn’t feel like they’re stopping there.
However, since they’ve now spent a hefty chunk of change on these new players, some of their own will have to be sold to recoup some of their money.

Players such as Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez have been linked with Anfield exits recently, but there’s one of Slot’s men who has been setting the world alight since the season ended.
RB Leipzig believe Liverpool want too much money for Harvey Elliott
Over the last few weeks numerous teams from across the world have been linked with an interest in Harvey Elliott.
The midfielder was hardly given any playing time by Slot last season, which has resulted in rumours being shared about his future.
Premier League clubs such as Crystal Palace and Wolves have also been linked with Elliott since the start of June, but over the last couple of days, interest from RB Leipzig has been brought into the light.

However, according to Sky German journalist Philipp Hinze, the midfielder is ‘too expensive’ for the Bundesliga outfit.
“English media reports about Leipzig’s interest in Harvey Elliott. According to our information, there is nothing to it as of today,” he wrote via his personal X account.
“There have been neither talks nor negotiations—not even a casual exchange.
“Moreover, with a price tag of over 45/50 million €, it’s very expensive, probably too expensive.
“As a half-space No. 10, he doesn’t necessarily fit the desired profile either. Currently off the table.”
Arne Slot should try and find a place for Harvey Elliott at Liverpool
At the moment, it feels like Elliott’s future lies away from Liverpool.
The midfielder is too good to be a benchwarmer at Anfield, especially after the performances he’s put in for England’s Under-21s at the World Cup.
However, with the transfer of Florian Wirtz and the fact that Dominik Szoboszlai will still be around next season, the attacking midfield spot will be pretty locked out.

Of course, there is the chance that he could be kept at the club as Mohamed Salah’s back-up on the right wing, but as has been shown over the last few seasons, he’s far better in a central position.
Indeed, only time will tell what the future holds, but if Slot can find a way to keep the young Englishman around next term, it would probably be one of the most beneficial things he could do.
