Manchester United are very busy in the summer window. They are keen to improve almost all positions. The Red Devils ended the last season on 15th position in Premier League. Hence, they are ready to part ways with many of the current stars.

One player who has been constantly linked with exit is Andre Onana. The Cameroon international has failed to impress at Old Trafford. He has commited multiple errors and this has costed the club. As a result, United are ready to move-on from him.

United have been linked with multiple keepers. As of now, they have been heavily linked with Emi Martinez. The Argentine has given green light to join them. But, the latest reports say that United have another keeper as their top priority this summer.

Man United have Italian keeper as top priority

According to Alfredo Pedulla, United have Marco Carnesecchi as their top priority this summer. He is 24 year old Italian keeper who currently plays for Atalanta. Pedulla added that United are preparing an offer of around €40 million to sign him.

However, Atalanta are demanding around €45-50 million for Carnesecchi. The player was superb in the recent season due to which club rates him very highly. Currently, negotiations are underway and it will be interesting to see how the story unfolds in coming days.

Carnesecchi will be a long-term investment for United. He played 34 games in Serie A last season. He was able to keep 13 clean sheets to help Atalanta finish third. In addition, Carnesecchi made 98 saves with an amazing 74.2% saving accuracy. He surely has a very bright future ahead of him.
