Former NFL star J.J. Watt makes major personal announcement

Former NFL star pass rusher J.J. Watt made a major personal announcement earlier this week after he and his wife Kealia welcomed their second son.

The brother of Pittsburgh Steelers star T.J. Watt, both brothers have welcomed kids in the recent months. T.J. and his wife, Dani, welcomed their daughter, Blakely, in March.

J.J. and his wife, Kealia, welcomed their second son, Niko Benjamin Watt, to the world on June 26.

“Overcome with joy and gratitude,” the post Watt released was captioned.

The Watts welcomed their first son, Koa, in 2022. The couple tied the knot in 2020. Watt’s teammate Brian Cushing introduced them to each other while Watt played in Houston.

Kealia played for six years for the Houston Dash as a professional soccer player, while Watt was a superstar defensive end for the Texans.

Watt is now an analyst for CBS Sports on Sundays. The 35-year-old has teased an NFL return, even paying attention to the Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers’ situations over the years, but he seems content with retired life.

The Watts are minority owners of Burnley F.C, which has become a passion for the couple since J.J.‘s retirement following the 2022 NFL season.
