Chelsea having conversations about£60 million costing striker

Chelsea are having conversations about one Premier League striker. He is young and has proved himself in variety of positions. He is likely to cost £60 million withe Blues facing competition from Newcastle United.

Chelsea signed Liam Delap from Ipswich Town this summer. He costed them only £30 million due to Tractor Boys getting relegated. This gave them a chance to sign another striker and the Blues are taking it. They want a versatile striker due to both Nkunku and Joao Felix leaving.

The West London giants are likely to stick with their policy of signing young players. As of now, they are linked with multiple players like Hugo Ekitike. But, the French striker has been made available for €100 million. Hence, the Blues are keeping eyes on other players in the market.

Chelsea having conversations about Brazilian striker

Another player who has been linked with the Blues is Joao Pedro. He is 23 year old Brazilian star who can play as all striker, winger and attacking midfielder. He currently plays for Brighton & Hove Albion who are ready to sell him but will want around £60 million.

“Let’s not forget the interest from Chelsea in Joao Pedro. He remains a player of interest and they are having conversations because they like him and are following closely” – Fabrizio Romano on his youtube channel.

Joao Pedro can be a very good addition to the Chelsea squad. Firstly, he will come as a long-term investment due to his age. Then he will be a perfect replacement for Nkunku. But, it will depend on wheter Chelsea are ready to meet Brighton’s expectations of transfer fee.

🚨 Chelsea and Newcastle both remain involved in João Pedro race.

◉ Sancho and Fenerbahçe, nothing serious.

◉ Arsenal not in panic for Mosquera negotiations + winger options.

◉ Man United keep working for Mbeumo.

On the other hand, Newcastle hold strong interest in Pedro. They are already set to have held talks to sign him. The Magpies are back in UCL and will offer Pedro regular gametime. This may give them lead over Chelsea who do have plenty other options in their attacking unit.
