Leeds United could potentially be affected in their bid to sign Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara this transfer window.
The Brazilian national joined the Super Lig outfit last summer from Norwich City, winning the league title and the Turkish Cup in his debut campaign.
Daniel Farke now wants Sara at the West Yorkshire outfit in the coming weeks, with a price tag of a little over £25million placed on the 26-year-old’s head.
The German has already arguably suffered a bitter blow with Strasbourg’s Habib Diarra set to sign for Sunerland over the Peacocks, and he may also be left frustrated with a deal for the Istanbul club’s star.

Sara’s Super Lig record this season.
It’s been claimed that the Super Lig outfit’s manager, Okan Buruk, wants the Brazilian ace to stay at RAMS Park ahead of next season.
Farke is evidently desperate for more options in the engine room and will undoubtedly not be pleased with the latest development regarding Sara.

Leeds need reinforcements in midfield this summer transfer window
Leeds have Union Saint-Gilloise midfielder Noah Sadiki on their radar after missing out on Diarra.
The Whites can’t go into next season with Ilia Gruev, Ethan Ampadu and Ao Tanaka as their only experienced options in the engine room.
Following the injuries to the Wales international and the Bulgarian star at the start of the previous campaign, Joe Rothwell seized his opportunities, but has since returned to Bournemouth after his loan spell.
Leeds had to sign Josuha Guilavogui in October 2024 due to the fitness crisis in the middle of the park, and 49ers Enterprises need to ensure something similar isn’t forced upon them in the coming months.
The French veteran has left after his short-term stint at the Whites, and there’s an evident need for more midfielders in LS11.
While the Elland Road faithful are delighted to be back in the Premier League, immediate relegation will rightly see supporters point fingers at the American owners.
The West Yorkshire outfit should move on to other targets if Sara isn’t available, as they should aim to build most of their squad before facing Manchester United in a pre-season friendly on 19 July.
