Bayern Munich agree personal terms with 20 G/A Chelsea target

Bayern Munich have agreed personal terms with young forward. The player was very good last season which he ended with 20 goal contributions for the club. He is also wanted by Chelsea who are in need of a versatile attacker.

Chelsea have signed Liam Delap and are now closing in on Jamie Gittens. Delap is set to become Chelsea’s new number nine. On the other hand, Gittens is set to become first choice left winger. But, the Blues are unwilling to stop here.

Chelsea are keen to sign another striker but of different profile. They want a player who can play as both striker and attacking midfielder. As of now, they have Ekitike and Joao Pedro as top targets. But, Ekitike will cost €100 million whereas Pedro is wanted by Newcastle United.

Another player who has been linked with the Blues is Nick Woltemade. He is 23 year old German striker who plays for Stuttgart. He ended the last season with 17 goals and 3 assists in 33 games. This has attracted interest from top clubs.

Chelsea are also in the race due to Nick Woltemade ticking all boxes in their requirement list. He is young and can play as both striker and attacking midfielder. But, the Blues have now been handed a major blow in the race as Bundesliga champions have agreed personal terms with the player.

Bayern Munich agree personal terms with Nick Woltemade

According to Florian Plettenberg, Bayern have reached agreement with Woltemade on summer transfer. He added that the player has been offered long term contract until 2030. In addition, the German giants have also reached an agreement on his salary with supervisory board having approved the deal.

But, Woltemade is tied to Stuttgart with a contract until 2028. They are unwilling to sell him this summer. The contract does not have a release clause and hence they will demand a hefty transfer fee. But, this does not change the fact that Chelsea have now fallen behind in the race.
