Report: Crystal Palace make contact to sign star compared to Neymar, he could replace Eze

Crystal Palace have made contact with RB Leipzig about a move to sign winger Antonio Nusa, according to Tutto Bologna Web.

The Eagles are in the market to strengthen their squad ahead of a maiden European campaign after they qualified for the Europa League in 2025/26 following their FA Cup win.

But the club are also expecting some big exits this summer, including star forward Eberechi Eze, and now Oliver Glasner is scouring the market for potential replacements to ensure the team isn't left short in the new campaign.

Rapid star could be available for around £30m

One of the targets being looked at is Leipzig star Nusa, who has been compared to Brazil superstar Neymar, and is said to be available for transfer for around £30m this summer.

The report suggests that while Serie A champions Napoli are also interested in the Norway international, it's Palace who have made the first move for his signature and they are ready to offer more than Antonio Conte's side for the player.

They are also already talking about personal terms, with the Eagles ready to offer a wage of around £57,000-a-week to get him to Selhurst Park, which is also more than Napoli would be willing to offer.

Fabrizio Romano revealed exclusively to GIVEMESPORT that Palace had also been showing an interest in Bologna forward Dan Ndoye as a potential replacement for Eze, but he is in advanced talks with Napoli and that could also leave the door open for Nusa to join instead.

Eze has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in recent days after GMS revealed that the Gunners have added the England star to their shortlist, while Thomas Frank has also green-lit a move for Tottenham to try and sign the Eagles star, who has a £60m release clause in his contract.
