Elite striker signs, Onana replaced: Manchester United new dream line up as five signed -…

Manchester United are close to an agreement that will see Bryan Mbeumo become their second signing of the summer transfer window, in what is another huge boost to Ruben Amorim. The United head coach prioritised attacking additions in the off-season with Mbeumo expected to join Matheus Cunha at Old Trafford.

Even if that deal is completed soon, United remain in the market for a proven goalscorer and retain an interest in both Sporting star Viktor Gyokeres as well as Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike. Who they manage to sign upfront will depend on player sales, with Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Antony all on the market.

Amorim would also love to strengthen at wing-back and central midfield, with United also interested in a new goalkeeper. They are most likely to replace backup Altay Bayindir but could move for a new first-choice if the right opportunity presents itself. With all that in mind, here is a look at what the dream starting line up could look like next season.
