It has been all but confirmed that Jarell Quansah is off to Bayer Leverkusen this summer as Arne Slot’s restructuring of the team takes place. Liverpool legend, current Bayer Leverkusen boss, and Spanish ginger prince Xabi Alonso has helped with several high profile transfers from the Bundesliga winners to the Premier League winners this summer, and soon he’ll be repaid.
Jeremie Frimpong and, most recently, Florian Wirtz, have both come Liverpool’s way in the last month. For the Reds’ part, they are selling up and coming center-back Jarell Quansah.
The reported deal, set to have an initial fee of £30million plus £6m add-ons, will likely be announced before the end of June. Fabrizio Romano has recently posted on X that Quansah is set for a medical with the club this Monday.

On Saturday, England will battle Germany for the U-21 European Championship trophy, and then win or lose, Quansah will waste no time heading out of Slovakia and straight to Germany. This continues the trend this summer of Liverpool getting their business done as quickly as possible.
Quansah came into his own this season and proved himself a more than capable defender alongside more senior players such as Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konaté. He surely has a bright future ahead of him, be it in the Bundesliga or wherever he ends up.
